Nestled in the sleepy village of Kilkhampton.  This traditional self catering Cornish country cottage has been beautifully restored and is perfect for four or less to hide away in.

It's easy to immerse yourself in village life when you stay at Church View which stands in a quiet lane a minute's walk from the heart of Kilkhampton.

Buy fresh bread for breakfast at the local shop and roast your Sunday joint bought from the friendly local butcher, whose predecessor, in pre health-visitor days, was known to check a new-born baby's weight in their scales, (we're pretty certain the scales have been updated since)! Polish off a traditional Friday night 'fish-supper' from the local, award winning, 'chippie' after you've drunk and skittled your evening away at the two welcoming public houses.

Kilkhampton is about four miles North of Bude and less than two miles from the stunning beaches of Sandymouth with its natural seasonal waterfall and Duckpool, legendarily named because of its use for dunking witches! Church View has some beautiful features such as a local slate flagstone floor, a wood burner and a delightful window seat all adding to its character and charm and outside there's a pretty enclosed garden for you to enjoy.

Church View is a short hop to the village church and the accessible country walks that make this cottage such a superb base for the exploration of the wonderful Cornish countryside.
